Happy couple
Graduation! Managed to take a picture with the Ohio State University president Karen Holbrook after receiving my diploma. Being the nice sweet old lady that she is, she was taking pictures for at least a coupla hours with the new graduates and their families and friends and whoever who wants to be in a photo with this celebrity academia. I was among the celebrity-awed many. It was worth it though - telling the president of a top-rate academic institution to hold my Winnie-the-Pooh plush toy = priceless!
I thought being a graduate having to sit through a graduation ceremony was tuff. It must be hell for President Holbrook and the faculty to do that every freakin semester :p But really, being there at every graduation commencement is the least she could do... she's not getting paid 350K a year to just sit on her ass, sign memorandums, and write advisories to students about safe partying and not rioting after football games.
